TVDSC Mission

The mission of The Villages Deaf Senior Citizens (TVDSC) shall be as follows:

a.  To promote the educational, economic, and social interests and needs of deaf, hard-of-hearing and deafblind people in The Villages, Florida, whose primary language is American Sign Language (ASL)
 
b.  To protect the legal rights of deaf, hard-of-hearing and deafblind people in The Villages, Florida
 
c.  To promote awareness and understanding of deaf, hard-of-hearing, and deafblind people and deaf cuture among The Villages, Florida public

Where is The Deaf Villages?

IN FLORIDA!

"(The) Deaf Villages" is a common term used by the Deaf Community.  There is a large group of Deaf senior citizens (ages 55 and up) who live in the city named The Villages.
 

Villages Resident ID Card and Guest ID Card:

If the following event is held at any of The Villages recreation facilities, i.e., recreation center, bocce, shuffleboard, tennis and pickleball courts, executive courses, and swimming pools, a Villages Resident ID Card is required

Guests are required to carry their original guest ID card and a photo ID when using a District amenity facility even if accompanied by a resident. The accompanying resident is required to have a valid resident ID card. If a guest(s) does not have a valid guest ID card with them, the guest(s) will be denied access to District amenity facilities.
